This mud kitchen arrived right on schedule, and the overall quality of the product is impressive. The wood and components feel sturdy, well-made, and built to handle plenty of outdoor play. Assembly, however, requires some patience and the right tools. The included instructions arent very clear, and several of the screw holes arent pre-drilled. Trying to put this together with a standard hand screwdriver would be a real challenge—using a power drill is practically essential to get through the setup smoothly. She spends a lot of time in her kitchen preparing meals for the family. I love the kitchen also. It is the perfect size for the house and it is well constructed. It is made of fairly thin wood but once assembled it is very strong. Assembly was a breeze, using the very simple, easy to follow instructions. All the parts fit together perfectly and really liked how the fasteners were packaged separately and labeled. The only problem is the salt shaker is somewhat rounded on the bottom so it doesn’t sit flat on the shelf. Also one of the screw holes was stripped out and the screw would not tighten.
