This has been designed with a pull out desk, a 3 drawer chest and shelving unit for books etc. The product also takes a standard UK single mattress (90cm x 190cm).

Great value but bunk could be a little more sturdy. Takes quite a while to put together but a lot of furniture so to be expected I guess. 1 man delivery for an item delivered in many boxes clearly marked 2 man lift - dont expect delivery any further than driveway if in a house. The Jodi mid 6 cabin bed is the perfect addition for any child's bedroom. The sturdy Jodi mid sleeper bed features a solid wooden frame complimented by a ladder, two shelf units and chest of 3 drawers. The Jodi collection has been designed to meet all children's sleeping and playing needs. All their Jodi products have plenty of storage and are finished in white and solid birch.

The bed itself is lovely and my little boy loves it. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. However, it took longer than the recommended time on the instructions for 2 people to put together. This was because of 2 main factors. 1) The feet that the drawers and the shelves sit on are made from solid wood and each 1 (there were 12 in total) required a wooden dowel and a screw to fit it into place. Fine in itself but there was only a hole in the solid wood for the dowel. We had to physically screw the screws into the wood with no holes to guide it in or make it easier. It took forever and resulted in blisters on the palms of our hands. 2) As with the feet the bed slats also needed to be screwed into place. There were holes in the slats to do this but not in the wood they needed to be screwed into, so we were screwing into solid wood again. It required a lot of strength to do this. Once assembled (after 2 days) the bed is sturdy and looks great. It was supposed to come with a clip on shelf which is clearly shown on the image and WAS listed in the features. However it was not included. When I phoned to inquire about the missing clip on shelf, I was told although it was in the picture there was nothing in the features to suggest it was included. I pointed the lady in the right direction but she still insisted it was my error. She eventually agreed to contact the warehouse for me and said she would be in touch on the Tuesday (I called the Sunday before a bank holiday Monday). On the Tuesday I did not hear from her and I noticed that the shelf had been removed from the product features. I called back and spoke to a lovely lady who assured me that I was correct and that there should have been a shelf included and that she would rectify the situation. She contacted the warehouse for me and said she would let me know the outcome - unfortunately she didn't hear by the time she thought she would so I didn't hear from her. We have received email correspondence stating firstly the shelf shouldn't be included and offers of a small refund, then again saying that the warehouse need to give them the code for the shelf so they can ship it. More recently apparently the shelf is not in stock until August and we can either wait or have a refund - this time twice as much as the initial amount offered (£60) We have opted to wait til August - I want the shelf. The features now clearly states that the clip on table, not shelf as originally advertised is not included. For this I am not happy - Wayfair must this I am uneducated idiot who cannot read, this is a red rag to a bull for an English teacher who makes a living out of teaching people to read. Coincidentally there is another Jodi Single High Sleeper Bed with Storage for exactly the same price that still says it includes the clip on shelf. Wayfair might want to change this too. As well as all the other Jodi Single High Sleepers that include this feature (which is pretty much all of them), just in case they make this blunder again. For the bed itself I would give it 4 stars, ease of putting together and service received it can only get 2 stars. If the matter had been sorted when I first contacted them about this then it would have reflected better. But to be fobbed off so many times I am afraid my review must reflect this.. Mrs.. The light tone of the fabric fits in wonderfully with the floral pattern. The front curtain has an open entranceway which is covered by a flap that can easily be rolled up. The fabric in this set is made of 100% cotton and can be machine-washed at 30°C. The space underneath the bed is the perfect play area or it can be used as practical storage space. The ladder can be mounted on the left or right. The surrounding bed rails, wide ladder rungs for safely climbing up and down, and the high-quality workmanship along with the stable construction all make this bed stand out.

The bed was really good and the little one loved it. The bed is well made, stable, easy to put together (only took a few hours to put together). Being a mid-sleeper the space under the bed (in terms of height) is limited, so it's quite easy for the little ones to bump their heads. The only real thing that I disliked was the fact that the base of the slide is made from some sort of cardboard like material. There are pieces of wood under the base of the slide to add support, but in places where the base of the slide does not have support directly underneath, it feels more flimsy than I would like. Otherwise, I really like the product. A couple of minor points that I would like to mention. These may have just been one off incidents that impacted me directly, rather than being inherent issues with ordering the product. 1. The bed arrived late (delayed by a month) 2. The build instructions identified the individual pieces using numbers, but the actual pieces of the bed were not numbered. However, working out what went where, was not too hard.. Mustafa. My little boy loves this bed but the picture does not represent what you get. All you get is the bed frame and the curtain under the bed. There is no shelf, tent or side pockets and also ensure you read the full specification as the bed slats are not included. The build took a couple of hours but had very clear instructions. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves it. We have added LED lights to the den below and she thinks it is amazing. We still need to add some curtains but i felt that the set you could purchase were too expensive. It feels very sturdy and safe.
