Excellent quality wood very easy to assemble. Took around an hour to assemble, instructions were very clear there were a few spare parts left over. Used only a screwdriver hammer to assemble by myself. Only thing to note is that when screwing in the runners to the drawers themselves, screw it in gently as the wood was starting to split due to hole location, was fine after it was screwed in. This is quite a nice piece of furniture, even if somewhat overpriced. The wood effect looks ok and it feels pretty sturdy. It is probably too high for a bedside table, unless you have a tall bed or you sleep on top bunk. If you can find the item of furniture elsewhere, ie other than at Wayfair, then go for it. The customer services department are awful, and if you have a problem such as damaged or delayed items they wont do anything about it. Read their reviews on an independent site.
