This loft bed is an extremely clever and practical piece of children's furniture that offers incredible functionality and great value for money. This collection's compact footprint is supported by a robust, solid pine framed construction and offers numerous useful features from a handy pull-out desk to ample shelving and cupboard space.

There’s a few things I’d like to draw your attention to about this bed. Firstly it say estimated time to build is 1.5 hours. Possibly if you have a pit crew. Failing that, it’s going to take quite a bit longer. The quality is good, but what is a massive shame is there’s almost no pre drilled holes. So when you hammer in nails or use screws straight into the wood it splits and you’re immediately damaging your brand new bed! It took me a while to notice that this was happening and I’m gutted about these blemishes. I decided the best way forward was to use a tiny drill to make my own holes and that worked a treat. Just be careful not to go too far, which of course the one time I did was on the top of the desk, so now there’s an annoying hole on my son’s brand new desk. So I’m suggesting to the manufacturer, please pre drill the holes!! Overall I am happy with the quality, just gutted it’s damaged from the start which could be avoided. My son absolutely loves it. Absolutely brillant. Its strong and looks great. My kids love it. The shelves really make it extra special for my children. I like the fact wires cant come through the shelves for charging etc.. this means that kids wont have electronics near them. We have a solar lights plugged into the light socket for a night light and thats energy efficient and works great next to the bed. The bed is very hard to assemble. It definitely takes 2 people and maybe even a third person so be prepared to put the work in. This will be hard for one person so I recommend getting it assembled by wayfair. It is a lovely looking bed and rather sturdy. Putting together was ok, a couple of bits were confusing, but worked it out in the end. Instructions at first looked daunting, but once I got started it wasn’t too bad. You can’t use an electric screwdriver on most of it, so a bit of muscle power is needed, as some places where the screw goes in doesn’t have hole , which did confuse me, but it all turned out good.
