We love this bed and so do the kids. It was incredibly hard to assemble with the instructions provided, but we got there in the end. There was also a slat of wood missing, but I didn't know what reference number and name it was to request another. And, there was an issue with the finish on one of the drawers. The bunk bed is made with extra chunky and solid Brazilian pine. The traditional spindle design is finished in a smooth light antique pine. The strong and solid construction features a secure ladder giving easy access to the top bunk. The bunk bed can also be used as two single pine frames.
