I would of love to of gave this 5 stars but unfortunately the wood was slightly damaged in most areas. I didnt complain because I needed the beds up as it was a surprise. In all fairness its a very sturdy bunk bed and with 2 people it was very easy to assemble. I do recommend to use a drill when putting the slats down as some screws dont make it all the way down. After reading some reviews, agree with the strong smelling paint, had to drill holes that were missing on the steps and the pieces didn’t have the labels. Got the smaller beds to fit where I needed them. Mattresses are thin foam mats but do the job for smallies. Instructions was one sheet, had a pic of a different bed and a few Instructions in German but was easy to bang together. Nothing included to attach ladder though, had to use our own stuff for that. The bed was damaged in two places, the instructions were in German for a different bed and I had to beg the delivery people to put the two heavy packages in our hall rather than leave them outside..
