I would of love to of gave this 5 stars but unfortunately the wood was slightly damaged in most areas. I didnt complain because I needed the beds up as it was a surprise. In all fairness its a very sturdy bunk bed and with 2 people it was very easy to assemble. I do recommend to use a drill when putting the slats down as some screws dont make it all the way down. When getting over the ordeal of the build, really pleased with the beds. Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. After reading some reviews, agree with the strong smelling paint, had to drill holes that were missing on the steps and the pieces didn’t have the labels.
