Would not recommend!!! One of the shelves doesn't work because the screw holes are in the wrong place making it wonky and the shelf hits the door. The tap is all scratched, the wood isn't great and it came in soo many pieces so it was difficult to put together. A beginner would struggle. This kitchen is perfect for our small space and my kiddo loves it. However, it’s also really light! My two year old can move the whole furniture just by pulling on one of the doors. She spends a lot of time in her kitchen preparing meals for the family. I love the kitchen also. It is the perfect size for the house and it is well constructed. It is made of fairly thin wood but once assembled it is very strong. Assembly was a breeze, using the very simple, easy to follow instructions. All the parts fit together perfectly and really liked how the fasteners were packaged separately and labeled. The only problem is the salt shaker is somewhat rounded on the bottom so it doesn’t sit flat on the shelf. Also one of the screw holes was stripped out and the screw would not tighten. Great idea for my baby who is 13 months old. The only thing I think would be cool for him if there was like a nob for him to wind up so the little mixer would spin on its own. It would also be like him winding up a hand mixer and it would be more real for him to learn. He loves cooking with me already and we use this all the time.
