Yes it does take a while to assemble but the outcome is amazing. My ten year old granddaughter loves this bed and I’m sure she will for years to come. The sofa and cupboard unit can be positioned either side under the top bunk and the ladder can also be moved to the other side; this isn’t mentioned in the details about the product. This bunk bed is a functional piece of furniture. One of the beds is in a pull-out drawer and can be both a day bed and a perfect solution for occasional guests. The space occupied by the furniture can be used perfectly. This bed is suitable for limited living space, for small apartments and houses.
