Assembly instructions are clear and I put this together by myself. Item a nice height for my toddler. Only thing stopping me giving 5 stars is that the shelving for the books is quite low meaning books placed on the back shelf fall down and are not always visible (depending on the size of the book). Four tiers. Covers facing out. A bookshelf that actually gets children reaching for books instead of everything else. At 80cm wide and 88cm tall, this children's bookcase stretches wide rather than tall—low enough for small hands to reach the top shelf without climbing, broad enough to display picture books, bedtime stories, and comics with their covers fully visible. The single-sided design sits flush against a wall in the bedroom, nursery, or classroom, turning a blank stretch of wall into a mini library. Each of the four tiers is cut taller and wider than standard slots, so picture books stand upright without leaning forward or sliding out. Thick engineered wood boards with smooth matte surfaces and rounded edges handle daily use without splintering or wobbling. The base is solid and weighty, keeping the whole unit planted when a toddler pulls themselves up for a closer look.
