Mid Sleeper Solid Wood Children's Beds

Looks very smart in my son's bedroom. My daughter wants one now. Everything is very neat with a hiding place or toy storage behind. Great for small rooms! The reason I have only given it 4 stars is due to the scratch marks and flaws in the paint work of the wood which is not what your expecting after paying £500 for the bed but after taking it all out of the box we weren't going to send it back then after my 7 year old boy has been waiting for it to be delivered. Also, there is a gap between all of the drawers which runs down both sides and this gap is not equal but it doesn't affect the opening and closing of the drawers. However, my son loves his new bed!!. It is a lovely looking bed and rather sturdy. Putting together was ok, a couple of bits were confusing, but worked it out in the end. Instructions at first looked daunting, but once I got started it wasn’t too bad. You can’t use an electric screwdriver on most of it, so a bit of muscle power is needed, as some places where the screw goes in doesn’t have hole , which did confuse me, but it all turned out good. My little boy loves this bed but the picture does not represent what you get. All you get is the bed frame and the curtain under the bed. There is no shelf, tent or side pockets and also ensure you read the full specification as the bed slats are not included. The distance from the floor to the bottom of the bed is approximately 70cm. A slatted frame is included. The ladder can be attached on either the left or right side. The bed features all-round side rails and wide ladder steps for safety when climbing up and down, and is both well made and sturdy. The posts are approximately 6.5cm x 6.5cm thick. The bed is European single size. It requires approximately 210cm x 106cm of floor space. It's 114cm tall. The product requires self-assembly, using the simple assembly instructions included. Our daughter loves this bed. It was really simple to put together although it did take us about 5 hours. I’d recommend an electric screwdriver to put it together then it would probably take about 3 hours. The only bad point is that the bolts are brown/gold and they stand out against the white wood. The bed itself is really sturdy, our little girl has just turned 3 and she just loves the slide and den underneath. It’s a shame the Wayfair customer service team are so poor, I found the delivery company much more helpful and responsive. For a company this size Wayfair need to improve their customer service. Fantastic quality, slightly dodgy instructions. It isn’t clear which parts are for the back and which are for the front, managed to work it out but shouldn’t have to!
