We pulled out our electric screw driver and it was really fast and easy. I definitely recommend having one of those to put this together. When I say it’s simple to put together, it means a lot as I do not enjoy putting things together. Let’s just say we don’t shop at Ikea. After we put the entire kitchen together, our 2 kids played on it for hours. Every day since we got it, they have played with it every single day. The stove makes a cool little sound and there’s so much detail in this kitchen play set. My son will cook the food and then my daughter will be right next to him in the play sink area cleaning his dishes. I love how they are learning to cook food and then cleaning up after themselves. It’s also a great height for my little ones as they are not very tall. I feel like this kitchen playset is both fun and educational for my kids. I’m so impressed with this little kitchen! I was a little nervous from the reviews that said assembly was daunting, but I didn’t have any issues. Took about two hours solo and was very easy to follow, just tedious. The quality far exceeded my expectations, and my 18mo daughter LOVES it! If I could make one small nit, it would be that the labels used for the parts are not easy-to-remove stickers, and they leave behind adhesive, so that’s an annoying extra step. The Step2 Downtown Delights Kitchen is compact and practical. It is the perfect size for both of my boys to play and use their imaginations together.
