Really good quality bed, very sturdy and plenty of space underneath for a desk. Is a 2 person assembly job as you would expect but instructions were easy enough to follow. Our daughter loves her 'ladder bed'. It seems sturdy enough for a good few years (she's almost 3). There is a slight wobble if an adult shakes it but I think that's fine as it's a kids bed! The instructions were a bit dodgy as the pictures didn't always match the writing, but it was still clear enough that we could figure it out. We like that it's a strong, simple construction, that gives us maximum space for toys /storage underneath (some more expensive cabin beds actually waste space as their cupboards don't use the full space underneath) So it's practical and good value for money. I bought four sets of bunk beds and slightly wished I had bought pre painted ones because it's quite an epic painting challenge and they definitely need a coat of something to protect the bare wood which marks very easily .they take quite a bit of constructing and you need to be quite precise but now that the hard work is over I'm quite pleased with the result. We love this bed and so do the kids. It was incredibly hard to assemble with the instructions provided, but we got there in the end. There was also a slat of wood missing, but I didn't know what reference number and name it was to request another. And, there was an issue with the finish on one of the drawers.
