The first one we received was damaged but an online request and a couple of photos and we were sent a replacement quickly with no problems. My husband found it easy enough to put it together and only found one part difficult to figure out which way round it went. All the holes were in the right place- a nice surprise. Took him about 25 minutes to put together and our daughter loves it. The only thing I would say is the blackboard section doesn't feel or look like a blackboard.
