Easy to put together. Compact which is handy as we only had a small space for our computer. It feels nice and sturdy. It moves easily enough when you need it to but due to its sturdiness it doesn’t move about willynilly.
There’s not really much room once you have a monitor, small speakers, mouse and a small WiFi router (wish that could be moved but alas it can’t) on top of the desk so won’t be doing any hand written work unless I use the keyboard shelf which I guess isn’t a problem really, just being a bit nit picky.
I really don’t like the fact that the shelf has exposed screw thingies, I don’t know what they are called. It would have made so much more sense to have them on the under side of the shelf or even provide little plastic coverings to fit over them like so many other flat pack stuff comes with. Yes we made sure the shelf was in the correct way. Followed instructions and there is no other way due to pre drilled holes it could have gone.
It’s lighter in colour than we hoped and expected however it looks ok and doesn’t stop it doing what it is intended to do.
Ordered this in a bit of a rush so when I read the spec and it said no cable management I didn’t realise until we had fit it together that means no holes in the desk to fit cables through so you cannot have anything powered or with wires on the shelves other than the bottom as there is a solid back. Sucks for us as we have a wired keyboard, printer and a second tower so we have to have wires all over the place which is a little annoying but needs must.
At some point we’ll get round to making a hole in the back to feed the cables through and buying a wireless keyboard.
