This is not a nightstand to put near a Standard bed more like a kids car shaped bed or toddler bed...I should have looked at the measurements...the photo is completely deceiving...the directions were very hard to decipher and parts didnt have marking holes for screws to go into...complete guessing game...highly disappointed!!!
