Sadly even after paining a DIY man to try and fix the issues, it can’t be built as the slats are are several slightly different sizes to each other and so don’t fit the framing posts - wood is so soft it crumbles when fixing the screws so don’t hold

Very poor quality workmanship and low grade wood, horizontal slats have varying lengths causing gaps and therefore instability. Do not buy.

Wayfair, what is going on? I bought the honey coloured Jamael headboard for single bed. This is a terrible product! One part was missing completely (part C) which stabilises the entire headboard, the wood is in a shocking state with splinters and stain missing in patches, the slats are all different lengths so it didn’t go together properly. I used my own carpentry skills to get this headboard together - the only reason I didn’t send it back was because I thought it would be more hassle. Way overpriced for what it is. Wayfair, you have never let me down before but this has shocked me!
