After getting this all assembled and into its location in our home, we love it.
We will get a 32" tv to sit on top that will be visible from our kitchen area for me to enjoy while cooking!
It fits beautifully in a tight corner between our laundry room and outside patio doors (see pic)
However there are some things worth noting-
The assembly was nontrivial. Even for my husband and me (both analytical/technically inclined) it took our entire friday evening!
There are many parts and a complicated assembly process involving pegs, glue, cams, and screws.
The directions were correct, but I found the whole assembly process difficult to visualize. We went slowly and referred to the drawing section multiple times before committing to gluing pegs or tightening cams.
We took our time and cleared out a giant carpeted area (8x10) for assembly work, you actually build it upside down, so it rests on the top shelf during assembly. I didn't figure this out until it was complete and I noticed how visible all the cams were (silver). Once you flipped it over, most of them disappeared from visible view. They provided plastic "wood grain" decals to cover the cams that are still visible. Not a perfect match but pretty close.
For the price this is a great value if you are willing to take on the assembly required.
