Monteith 233cm W Modern 3 Seater Fully Assembled Slipcovered Sofa with Down Blend Fill

First, I ordered the Sofa online and I got the deliver to room service. I was told when I purchased it over the phone, it would be opened and put in the room of my choice so I could inspect. I wanted that ability, because I’ve ordered things from Wayfair before and they’ve arrived defective. When the delivery people arrived, they were like “oh no you needed to have an upgraded service for what I was promised by the WayfairBirch representative prior to ordering. They wanted to bring the big sofa in and just leave it in the middle of the room in a dirty box. That is not what I was told I was receiving and that is not what I paid extra for. There was no way I was going to be able to get the box open or get the feet on, because of its size and weight. Unfortunately, once I got to finally see it as you can see in the pictures it’s damaged in the corner, the front bottom is not so tightly so the material is basically not smooth across the entire front of the bottom of the sofa and it came with a dark mark on the side. I have filed a complaint with Wayfair who then forwarded it to Birch and I have yet to hear what my options are to have the sofa fixed. I definitely do not want to go through that nightmare again, I would rather they pick it up the way it is, at no charge of course, and get a full refund for the purchase and extra special I’m room delivery service I was promised, and assured of what it entails prior to purchasing the Sofa
