most of it was fine, but the shelf fixings are too thick for the shelf? they are virtually the same thickness as the shelf material so that when you screw them up it splits the shelf surface? therefor we had to refix the shelf using an alternative method?

Table was good quality besides the bottom shelf. Its thin and was damaged on arrival. This table worked really well for a side table next to our couch. I assembled it by myself and was fairly easy with the help of a box.
