Wood feels a little flimsy. I have brought better quality beds at a similar price range. Hopefully it will be OK as only for occasional use.

About This Product

Simple with clean lines suitable for contemporary interiors, the Mathusan bed frame has a minimal yet practical style. Its solid, wooden frame has a low profile and an elegant black finish. This frame has a sprung slatted base giving natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted to provide greater comfort. Please note: This bed is only suitable for a UK standard-size mattress. The maximum weight load is 180kg.

If your desired room of choice has a non-carpeted surface please ensure that you use some form of anti-slip protection and do not place it directly on the wooden floor. Please note that felt pads are not considered suitable anti-slip protection. This will prevent the bed from moving and therefore collapsing which will void your guarantee
