Nuirfield Display Cabinet

Wood pieces crooked and broken, missing hardware pieces, wood pieces not labeled and the instructions were not easy to understand and assemble it was a pain in my head.

We ordered a cabinet for our lounge. It arrived a week ahead of advised date. My husband is no novice to DIY and spent time over 3 days, building and adapting this unit, which was poorly machined, required sash cramps and blocks to bring the unit together. The backing for the unit, showed a wood effect finish, not so! It was hardboard, which was ok at the back of a closed cupboard,but not on the upper part on view, so cut the hardboard down, backed the cupboard and left the upper part open. The end product is something we are finally happy with, but nothing like the intended product. Maybe Wayfair sell for various companies, but they should be aware not all their suppliers step up to the mark. We know we could have returned the original item, but replaced that hassle with my husband dealing with the challenge.

Very over priced for an item that is poorly constructed. Pieces do not fit flush together so the entire construction is problematic. Pieces sent out didn’t match the colour and shade they were supposed to. No response from wayfair when I submitted pictures showing what a poor piece of furniture they sent me. im thinking twice now about shopping from wayfair again as I’ve had a very unpleasant experience. When I finally got someone to make contact they were extrmely rude and cut me off the web chat while I was still typing. I was offered a £90 refund which I assumed was on each time I bought as both were defective. that was my error and not until I received the refund email notification did I realise it was in total. The person on web chat - mark- told me I’d already agreed to the refund and so it was finalised and that was that. As long standing customers of wayfair I expected a bit more courtesy and customer service. whilst I was still typing he closed the chat. Extremely rude. Will not be shopping from wayfair again unless this is resolved

Lovely cabinet, well made and really looks lovely. Battled a bit to put it together but once done is a nice sturdy cabinet.

It took a bit long to assemble, but I love the product.
