Do not waste your money on this. It is poorly designed. In the photos you'll see that the two sections of the shelves can't line up because the metal rods push the shelves. They also did not line up the edges of the shelves with the metal supports on both sides. I'm also sending a photo of this. It also shipped with gouged paint. I don't see any paint chips in the box so it must have happened at the factory. If it was one third the price it might be suitable for use in a garage or utility room.

I placed this next to my front door and it adds the appearance of a classy portcullis-like entry way to my house, which features books, plants, and pottery... lightweight design, and an excellent purchase - easy enough to put together, but please make sure you are comfy with following directions.
