Good quality upholstered and shinny material, strong metal legs and sturdy. Easy to put together clear instructions, well packaged. They used a lot of foam to protect the wood, seats and legs. They tuck under the table perfectly. Imma order another pair

These are beautiful. Only downside is that they sound like deflating pillows when you sit down.
