Glormarie Solid Wood Dining Chair (Set of 2)

The chairs themselves are beautiful however, assembly does not match the instructions, which is actually a big problem unless youre willing to find a creative solution. The instructions say to put four screws in to attach the seat to the base, but there are no screw holes in either the seat or the base for this to take place. There are two holes at the bottom of the seat but I dont know what these are for since they are at an angle and do not line up with the base parts. You would need to drill the holes yourself, or do what we did which was to attach the seat to the base with adhesive Command strips (but these make that velcro sound each time you sit down or get up). Otherwise, the seat will just sit on the base loosely if you dont find some other way to secure it. Additionally, one of our chair seats came chipped off and we had to order a replacement. We like the look of the chairs so are willing to keep them, but it was disappointing that the assembly was not true to the instructions and that there is no easy way to secure the seat down.
