4 - Drawer Chest of Drawers

Trust the Process! I purchased this during the Black Friday sale 2022. FedEx delivered it 2 days later. When the package came upstairs it was HEAVY and I worked diligently by myself. Took 4.5 hours and I was also able to pause periodically to video the process. I support a previous review that Step 1 should come after Step 2. (Thanks girl!) Half way through I added dowels during Step 18 which prohibited me from putting 4 screws in part 10 in Step 26. Dont know why theres a small hole above the first handle but I might cover it. I had more than enough pieces and I had no damages to my parts. Very proud of myself for putting it together the same day I received it on my own! Its perfect for my bedroom. BUY IT WHILE ITS ON SALE NOW.

Ordered two and paid for assembly. Both turned out horribly. One is missing the bottoms to all drawers and Wayfair is refusing to send missing parts. Assembly had to be rescheduled three times because assigned representatives were having scheduling issues. Items could not be properly assembled due to missing pieces. The steps for the missing pieces are towards the end and went unnoticed until after hours of work.

Pros it’s HEAVY. The box, the dresser. It’s SOLID. Not solid wood but a solid piece it looks really good once it’s together all the pieces were together plus a lot of spares packed very well minimal damage (a few scuff that aren’t noticeable but nothing to whine abt) Cons it takes FOREVER to build. I’ve built dozens of pieces of furniture from all different mfrs and this hands down was the worst. It took abt 8 hrs in total by myself. Abt 30 mins was just un boxing. Another 20 organizing all of the pieces. Do yourself a favor and pay someone to put this together. This is not a piece for novices. TIPS 1. the instructions are mostly clear but do not follow step 1! It has you putting a piece together that needs to be apart for step two and getting it off will take another 15-20 mins 2. Read a few steps ahead. The instructions have you jumping around from piece to piece so read ahead so that you can organize your pieces. 3. Use a power drill. The instructions say not to but by step 8 I realized that if I didn’t, I’d finish around Christmas so I grabbed my drill and used it very CAREFULLY. Don’t go power driving bc most of it is some sort of pressedMDF type wood. A higher quality but still drill slowly and don’t over drill. Again, this is not for novice builders. For the most part everything fit just fine. I think I over drilled in a spot so the back has a small gap in the bottom. That’s the risk you take using a power drill but it’s worth it IMO. 4. Have 3 sets of hands. I did it alone but my goodness it would’ve gone much faster with help. Also the dresser is HEAVY so it takes strength to flip it over several times and get it upright. 5. Make sure the doors hang properly bc if not the magnet won’t catch and it’s challenging to readjust once the hinges are on. 6. Take your time. This isn’t a rush job. There will be frustrating moments but it’s a cute dresser (albeit small… I used it for lingerie, scarves, small t shirts and socks… adult clothes won’t fit.) I think that’s it… may they odds ever be in your favor .

This piece is exactly what i needed in the space. I was able to put this together myself. Step one should be step two. One piece was not labeled correctly but I was able to figure it out. I agree with other reviewers that you need to carefully read the instructions. They provide extra parts which was good since I've if the provided screws was incorrect.
