Solid and good material. Building it was a bit challenging with unclear instructions but you figure it out.

Definitely not a light brown, especially if you plan to place it in a lower natural light area. It’s more of a darker brown but still nice. Good bench size for sitting to put shoes etc. didn’t take too long to put together.

Lots of parts to assemble, but not too hard to do. The wood was darker than I expected though (looks more like a walnut).
