The boards did not line up with the precut inserts, causing the whole piece to be unable to be assembled fully. Additionally, one piece arrived with the words “third board” written on it in Chinese with permanent marker.

Love this island, my only complaint is that the top piece is made up of two boards that are held together by screws that aren’t long enough to keep them tight to each other or to support any weight on the side that’s used as a bar. We ended up buying additional wood and screws to install on the underside of the two boards eliminate the very visible seam and to reinforce the bar portion.
