The design is nice and it's sturdy, however the finish massively lets it down. The problem is the top. It's not finished at all well, the wood is warped so it has a kind of wavy effect and cups wobble on it so not the best for a coffee table. We're buying a different one elsewhere and this one will probably end up just being for plants
