The parcel smelled really bad - like sweaty trainers and my conservatory smelled awful for days, as that's where I kept it until it was unpacked. The table top was much lighter than it looks on the picture and I thought it would be finished smooth but it was really quite rough and I got a splinter when I went to brush over it. I will probably put a clear varnish on it myself to seal it as if any coffee is split on it, it would likely stain.
