Hollowell Writing Desk

Exactly what I needed. Was put together with power tools, feels very sturdy and solid. A lot of room for things in the shelves, my small office fits under it.

This desk is a perfect size for a combination spare bedroom / office where space is limited. I really like the storage built into the sides and having a large surface for working. However, I was disappointed that the veneer was heavily damaged in three different places in arrival. Fortunately they are mostly in less visible areas, but it seems like the packaging could've been a little better. The shelving pieces didn't seem to be square when attached, but everything did come together relatively easily and it feels stable enough.

I had to come back and edit my review, unfortunately. I purchased this desk in May 2018; I’ve loved it since I got it. Seemed like pretty good quality and had a really cute style. However, today I was packing up a box and placed a piece of tape down on my desk. And it totally ripped of the top “wood” layer. Man, I’m so disappointed. It’s a huge eyesore. :(

Table color is more brown than what the photo appears. I expected a more pale natural wood like in the photos. Still like the color but it was different than what I expected. Table top had a crushed corner even though the box came in great packaging. Wayfair sent a replacement part with no issues. Shipped immediately. Quite happy with their service.
