The stools are very heavy and sturdy and feel like good quality. I would describe the colour as darker walnut. Unfortunately, one of my seats split / de-laminated within the first week of light use (please see photo). These seats are mdf and although very heavily built, they are not solid wood. A replacement seat was not available to me and so I accepted a refund.

Lovely stools but one came without the inlets in the base so the screws couldn’t be screwed in. Couldn’t send back as we damaged the box so had to source some ourselves.
