Farrer 125.5cm H x 60.5cm W Standard Bookcase

Ive never been a fan of self assembly and when this one arrived with one of the ingredients being a tube of glue I did consider sending it back straight away. And I should have done. As usual the instructions are as clear as mud and I got three quarters of the way through it only to find Id put the bits together backwards not helped by the fact that some of the parts were not labeled. As glue had been an essential ingredient all the way along parts that had been glued together at the beginning would not come apart. So this one ended up smashed a bit in the bin. New rule any self-assembly that arrives in future with glue as an ingredient will be immediately returned. Do not buy this item as mistakes cannot be corrected like they can with decent stuff that gets put together with screws

I really like this and use it for my CDs

As I know what a bookcase looks like the lack of assembly instructions and most parts not having stickers on (one piece had two) the assembly was reasonably straightforward only one disassembly needed. Judging by state of the box which had more sellotape although most seemed to be to keep box together rather than closed and the polystyrene was shredded and turned house into a snow globe; I am guessing this was a return not new. Just glad I didn't buy the desk and the media centre as well. Don't suppose I will winning prize!
