Palmea 103cm Solid Wood Sideboard

Very hard to put together but looks great

Arrives in two boxes - make sure delivery driver leaves both. Around 80 bits of wood, over 100 wooden dowels, and a large number of screws. Took me 3hrs for the main frame and (next day) another 3hrs for the draws & to tidy up. Just one screw was "wrong" (self tapper when should have been flat bolt end - handle screw - luckily I had suitable in my O's&E's box). Take your time (repositioning screws could be problematic) and it all ends up nice and square and looking factory finished. I left the black curved bits shown in the second (draws open) picture, off - they're just decorative bits & I prefer it without them. I also left the bottom half of the back off, that way by just removing the centre draw I can easily get to a 3 gang electricity socket in the wall behind it - very handy. Looks nice when finished. It's all solid wood so could be stained /varnished /sanded /etc. it if you wanted to. Yes, one at twice (or more !) the price would (probably) look a bit better - if you can find such - but I'm totally happy with this in the main room, and can recommend it (if you're OK with putting it/such together).
