130 cm Extendable Dining Table

An oval dining table with the storage built into it, for a kitchen where there is nowhere else to put the placemats, the napkins and the things that end up on the table. At 110 x 70cm it sits against a wall for everyday meals; slide it open to 130cm when more people come. Underneath, tiered compartments and a cabinet open on a recessed silver handle, so each shelf keeps a different thing rather than everything landing in one pile. The top carries up to 60kg and each shelf up to 15kg. The oval shape and the curved edge take up less of a narrow room than a square-cornered table. It weighs 32kg, arrives in two packages and assembles in about twenty minutes.
