Generally poor quality finish. A variety of small marks on edges. Note that this item comes in 2 pieces and wooden dowels are supposed to be provided to join them. The bag containing the accompanying screws etc had been torn open and there were no dowels. After buying a selection of standard dowels I discovered that the dowel holes aren’t a standard size. Wayfair couldn’t/wouldn’t supply replacement dowels - suggested that I return the whole package and get a new hall tree. More trouble repackaging than it was worth to get four 5cm dowels. The item fixes easily to the wall in two separate pieces without dowels. If you want a tidy finish buy some plastic screw head covers for the 16 fixing screws. Wayfair only supplies 9 flimsy pieces of thin adhesive plastic which don’t fit neatly and there aren’t enough for all 16 exposed screw heads. A good idea let down by poor finish and quality control.
