Hollice Writing Desk

Great desk. The colour of the wood is really nice. My husband put it up on his own with not too much fuss in about an hour. Feels sturdy but wouldn’t overload the drawers as with all flat pack. Nice size, not too big or too small.

This is by far the worst desk I’ve ever had the misfortune of buying. The assembly was a complete failure from the start—many of the dowels didn’t line up with the corresponding holes, making it nearly impossible to put together properly. The small bolts provided were also ineffective and didn’t secure anything with confidence. The side panel which act as the legs, are particularly poorly designed. They’re only held in place by three small bolts and three dowels—most of which didn’t even align correctly. As a result, the structure is unstable and cannot withstand even minor side pressure, especially when moving the desk. While the outer finish looks decent, the internal chipboard is extremely low quality. It doesn’t hold the fittings securely, and even the few pieces that did fit came loose under slight pressure. Parts were already starting to pop out during basic handling. I strongly advise against buying this desk. Ours is already destined for the local dump.

I bought this desk for my home office and it’s been perfect for working from home. Assembly was really straightforward — everything clicked into place without any hassle, which was a nice surprise! The colour is exactly as shown in the photos and looks really smart in the room. It’s the perfect size — enough surface space to work comfortably without taking over the whole room. The modern design ties the space together really nicely too. Overall I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, practical WFH desk!

Lovey desk perfect for my office

Looks great. Assembly relatively easy until attaching the door. I see from the reviews that many people found this stage difficult. Protective film very hard to remove. Overall looks good
