Fjeldheim 110cm W 3 - Drawer Chest of Drawers

Very stressful to assemble, wood drilled on the wrong sides, wrong holes, wood missing pieces, we almost gave up, we had to buy a drill to be able to assemble! The wood is of good quality, but a lot of work and very expensive!

The quality of the product is great but the out of all the things I’ve build flat pack this was a pain and the draw runners they supplied were different to the instructions and couldn’t be fitted exactly right with a lot of trial and error positioning and still have one draw aligned out! Also delivery came split so unpacked one box and realised half the stuff was missing so had to leave it out all over the floor till next delivery luckily is came the next day!

Lovely colours, excellent quality and very elegant

This is a very nice looking piece of furniture of reasonably good quality. As others on here have said, there is a problem with the screw holes for the part of the drawer runners that fit to the drawer sides in that they are in the wrong place. Also the runners are not the nicest or smoothest I've ever seen. One other criticism is that it seems a little shaky given that the legs are actually quite thin strips of wood rather than solid legs, and it's worth mentioning that the instructions show the lower piece that sits on the floor between the legs as having the metal cam parts pointing up and they you cover them with stickers at the end. If you simply turn the pieces over the parts face down and there is no need for the stickers as the metal parts face the floor which makes the whole thing look better. Overall though this is a nice looking piece and its only the minor niggles above that stop it being me scoring it five stars. It is a good size and has plenty of space in the drawers. The grey and wood finishes are better then some cheap goods you see out there but of course they wood in not solid wood.

Whilst an attractive unit, the quality is dissapointing. The construction labelling poor, with numbers on items missing, and holes for screw attachments missing. Also drawer handles missing and drawer bases cracked. It is useable and with extra glue and nails is now sturdy
