Im writing this review after 5 years of having this particular wardrobe, so it will be honest!
Putting it together, as I remember, was tricky. Its massive and easier to lay it out flat so you will need to do it on the floor. Its also heavy so you will need to do ot in the room you want it in. You will basically need an empty room (no bed) and a lot of patience. It took us 6 hours as the instructions werent particularly clear.
At first it was great, one large hanging section with a top shelf, and one side with a smaller hanging space and some big block shelves, as well as one across the top, and of course the two drawers below.
The drawer fronts fell off within a couple of months, no biggy, we just tapped them back in with some wood glue. This has been a regular touch up each year.
The hanging space, whilst generous, is useless for long items auch as maxi dresses. No matter how much i push the bottom of these items towards the back, they make their way to the front and under the runners of the doore. I have ripped and ruined several dresses unknowingly because of this.
The doors are an extremely heavy pain in the backside! They dont stay shut and weve had to wedge a doorstep against the outer sliding door. This was after adding magnets which no longer work, because the unit has developed a side tilt.
The doors also regularly come off their runners and I have at times actually thought I was going to be seriously hurt because of their size and weight (especially the mirrored door!). Its a 2 person job to put the mirrored one back on when it falls off. Im just glad ours falls onto the bed otherwise im not sure the mirror would have survived.
Would I buy this unit again? No!
