Velvet Upholstered Armchair (Set of 2)

A pair of swivel dining chairs for a table that also gets used for talking, where people turn to face each other rather than shuffling the whole chair round. The seat turns a full 360 degrees on its base, so getting in and out of a corner seat stops being a manoeuvre. Velvet covers the seat and the raised back, over high-resilience foam that holds its shape rather than flattening after a winter of long dinners. The arms are padded and set at a height that lets you sit upright. Underneath, a steel frame on four splayed metal legs carries up to 150kg. Each chair weighs 11kg. Both arrive in one parcel and take about five minutes to put together.
