Unfortunately it has strong chemical smell. Even after leaving the package open to allow the smell to dissipate for over 2 weeks, the smell is very much pungent. Unacceptable. As this was purchased for a child's room there is no way it can be used. Quite disappointing to be honest.

Really good headboard, had it a while now and still looks new, nice feel and padding, very pleased.
