We LOVE our new bed. The pillow headboard is great for leaning against when watching T. V, or reading. We've never had an ottoman before, so being able to store stuff underneath the bed without it being on show, is also a huge hit with us. Tip: Add the mattress to the bed after attaching the gas struts, it gives the weight needed to make lowering the frame easy.

Decided to upgrade our bed after 20 years! We went from a double bed with a head and footboard to a king-size headboard-only bed with ottoman storage - and a new eco-foam mattress. And I have to say it's perfect! I mainly went for this style of pillow-effect headboard as we like to sit in bed reading a book and having a coffee. The ottoman storage space was something I was very excited about and love that I can fit so much in there, and everything is put away out of sight! The gas lift hydraulics is a little stiff at first, but with the weight of the mattress and some upper body strength, it comes down fine. No parts were missing, and it was easy to assemble, all fixings were labelled, and instructions were very clear! There may have been 2 disagreements during the set up, but we soon forgot about them as we were both happy with the finished product. Out of the selection of colours, I originally wanted the beige, but the OH was definitely right on choosing the green! (Don't tell him I said that!) The material of the frame is like a thick quality cotton-linen fabric, and the colour is a forest green, which is perfect as it matches all of our existing bedding. I really can't wait to finish decorating the rest of the bedroom now!
