The drawer is good quality and sturdy, part of the assembly instructions are confusing, but it’s okay overall.

Love these. I used them under my sofa. There are a few steps to assemble them, and I found ONE of those steps annoying. So here is fair warning and some advice. When screw in the wheels, the instructions suggest to screw them in by hand. You could try an electric screwdriver with caution, since you’re using it close to the plastic wheels and might damage them. You need to get the screw through a piece of plywood before the soft wood, and that’s just a struggle by hand. I drilled some pilot holes and that fixed it - so I strongly recommend that. To install the black plastic cubes that support the boards, I used a ruler to line them up with the wooden struts which worked really well. Recommend for a good result. The finished drawers feel sturdy, roll easily and look very nice.

Poor quality. Firstly, not solid wood entirely- baseboards are particle board. Thin and bendy with a veneer. These are the boards that your items rest on, which isn’t ideal. Secondly, the actual wood hardly qualifies as “solid”. I doubt it is pine as advertised, it feels much too light and soft, a lot more like balsa wood. This would be fine except for the fact that you need the screws and nails to actually go into it without it splitting and cracking the drawer, which is not really possible unless you are really lucky. Thirdly, fittings are poor quality. Nails don’t hold up to a hammer without bending immediately even when hit lightly, screws are flimsy. Fourthly, placement of screws and nails don’t work properly- castor wheels underneath are expected to go into an area with screws already holding the main drawer together, which means they hit each other and snap the wood further. We have had to attach the castors with gorilla mounting tape in order to actually have functioning wheels and the wood still intact. For those wondering, gorilla mounting tape works pretty well. These two stars are because we have just about managed to assemble it and it does look nice, provided I completely forget the entire process of building it. Overall, not really worth £80 for the set of two, so best to get them on sale and be prepared to be very annoyed for an hour or two when they arrive.
