Ordered soft white and desk is not the same colour as advertised

A lovely desk, not the best quality wood (soft) but once assembled it’s lovely to look at.

I've had a lot of experience assembling flat-pack post and cam connected furniture and have never had the issue that I ran into with this product. While the wood components of the desk are great, and the grey finish was well done, the assembly hardware was incredibly cheaply made. This surprised me, given the cost of this item compared to other similar desks that I saw on the website. During the first steps of the assembly, I had two of the cams bend or break (see attached photo). Fortunately, the parts kit came with 3 spares. In order to prevent further issues, I had to assemble the desk using wood glue and only turn the cams enough to hold the pieces together until the glue dried. This would have been a much simpler assembly with better metal quality cams.

I am satisfied with the product
