Arrived damaged and is very different from image - sort of grey coloured surface added to the wood. Waiting for customer service to respond

This isn't solid wood. It had a weird cheap spray painted coating on the top, a bit like a kitchen worktop, the coating came off the first time I wiped it with a damp cloth and the veneer has started to lift. I'd steer clear if I were you. It was also flat pack assembly which I wasn't expecting from the listing. Couple that with the fact that delivery delays meant that right up till Christmas Eve I wasn't sure if we'd have anything to eat our Christmas Dinner off and it has completely put me off using Wayfair!
