Lovely set of chairs and great for my meals corner. They are quite comfy.

I cancelled my order of a new table from Next, much to my husband’s dismay, but I liked this one better. My husband complains about the quality from Wayfair every time I order from them because we always end up having issues. Sadly, as much as it pains me to say, my husband was right again! The chairs are lovely and really good quality. The table is a different story. The holes didn’t align when attaching the legs causing our first problem. My husband is pretty good at making adaptations so we made this work. Then, when we flipped the table over there was a really deep, visible, ugly scratch right in the middle. We used the polystyrene packaging on the floor to protect the tabletop when assembling, so we know this was not caused during assembly. Such a shame because the table itself and the chairs give a beautiful modern look and I would have given 5 stars had we not have received a faulty item yet again. The packaging when we received the item was covered in oil and there was some slight damage to the box, but when I cut the box open the table looked well protected so I wasn’t concerned. I wish I’d have returned it as faulty or refused delivery now. However, I find it highly unlikely the damage was caused during transportation as it was really well packaged. I believe this is most likely a manufacturing fault. Gutted!
