Beautiful wardrobe, very well made, easy assembly! It looks fabulous in my spare room!

This is a handsome and sturdy piece of furniture, but assembly is a lengthy and demanding process. The instructions are detailed, and the diagrams well designed, but it is easy to confuse up with down, and left with right, when the project is lying on the bedroom floor. Careful study of the instructions before starting assembly is essential. The better you understand what you are dealing with the less frustrating the experience. You will need a No 4 Phillips screwdriver at least 250 mm long, due to the shallow angle that most of the screws go in at. A slot head screwdriver is needed for the handles. A small awl will make life easier. A 75 mm G clamp will prove useful at several points. A rubber hammer is also useful, but if a part does not seem to fit as well as it should you have probably made a mistake - go back and check it is the right part in the right place. All those little dots on the diagrams are there for a reason. The instructions say that using a power tool will invalidate the warranty, but I needed a hand drill and 1.5 mm bit at one point to overcome a hard patch of wood that the self tapping screw could not initially penetrate. It also helped nailing the back on. This wardrobe is a characterful and durable product, far preferable to the normal plastic veneered chipboard article, and well worth the extra cost.

Beautiful wardrobe and easy to stain and varnish darker colour if needed. Instructions to make it are awful so definitely be warned it's not the easiest build!

This is a good solid wardrobe & I really like it now that it’s been built. However! The instructions are not great but that might have still been ok IF the parts had been labelled. This lack of indication coupled with the meh instructions turned what should have been a 1 hour job into closer to a 3 hour job. For this price, I would have expected the manufacturer to have gone the extra mile.
