Castillon 6 - Person Pine Solid Wood Dining Set

I’m very pleased with my choice. It suits my kitchen and requires well. It doesn’t come assembled,so you need assistance with this and the service is not offered. A piece of advice I would offer is to give the items at least 3 applications of beeswax as they are ‘raw’ wood to touch and will become stained. I’ve also applied ‘stoppers’ to both the table and chairs to protect the flooring.

This table and chairs was easy to build. The instructions were easy to follow. One person can build the chairs, but the table needs 2 people. It is very solid furniture, made from solid wood. The finish is rather rustic, but I like that look. I have treated the set to a coat of beeswax polish to get rid of the odd rough bits. It has come up lovely and smooth. With the addition of cushions, it is comfy to sit at and eat dinner.

Transformed my dining room. Only downfall was that it had all been put together minus the table top before Noticing the table top had a few chips in it ‍♀️ Can only presume it was done in transit but really disappointing due to the price of the table. Its now got a cover on so no one notices! Other than that it's a great solid table. If id noticed the chips before assembling everything, I would've returned for a new one.
