Emerfield Bookcase

The diagrams were not easy to follow, as there are no written instructions. There were a few scuffs but after a treatment of bri-wax as we needed it darker they were not noticeable. Overall pleased with the result.

Great value for money. Great looking furniture. Very comprehensive instructions. If your DIY skills are decent & it is put together properly, you will have a very nice pieces of furniture.

The bookcases are certainly value for money. Im not a DIY expert so I think I probably found it a bit more tricky than the average person however the instruction booklet really was woeful. One of the boxouts for showing how a part was inserted into the bookcase was actually labeled with the wrong letter so it didnt actually refer to the part that you were working on. Although that didnt become clear until later on. Simple addition of the words top and bottom on the sides and some other parts would make it a little bit easier knowing which way round to put it together. As it is I purchased three bookcases one ended up with the bottom on the wrong way round and another ended up with the clints on the wrong way round and the third one was definitely not 100 correct. The instructions would be adequate if the parts were more clearly labeled so that you didnt put bits together upside down. However if I need to add to the collection I probably would buy one again
