Display Cabinet

I was looking for a specific shape and size to display specific collectibles that don't fit in anything smaller. I spent two years searching until I found this, in a style I liked and the size I required. The price was very high for such simple workmanship, but it filled the bill, so I paid it. Imagine how upset I was when it arrived literally unfinished. The trim piece on the bottom front edge was rough cut, still with snags of wood clinging to the corner. It was unsanded and unstained. This is nothing remotely like the "heirloom" quality the American manufacturer claimed I was getting. One star off for the carpenter who failed to do his job, one star off for the quality control inspector who failed to do his job, and one star off for having the nerve to charge three times what a Chinese manufacturer charges for worse quality. If this is American manufacturing, I'm embarrassed to be American. I would add pictures, but the Wayfair website is broken and says "Invalid authentication token" when I try to attach photos. It wouldn't accept them when I filed a complaint with Wayfair either. Wayfair compensated me their cost for shipping out a replacement and left me to finish my furniture myself. Howard Miller furniture out of Zeeland, Michigan are in too much of a rush to finish their own work. Buyer beware.
